2. If you are throwing anything out, plan to do so in
advance, on a trash day. Trash left on
the curb (by you) when moving out, will be cleaned and charged
to your security deposit.
The MINIMUM charge for this is $150.00.
3. Any personal belongings left in the apartment after
10:00 AM on the last day of your lease is considered abandoned,
and will be removed and disposed of.

4. All keys, including mail keys if applicable, must be
returned the ART MUSEUM office by 10:00AM.
Keys not returned are charged to your deposit.
A lock change is a MINIMUM of $150.00.
5. Fill out your security deposit return form in our office,
so we know where to send your deposit.
6. Remember to make arrangements with all of the appropriate
utility companies, but do not have utilities shut off until
the last day. If appliances cannot be checked, deposits
cannot be returned.
7. IF YOU HAVE GAS SERVICE IN YOUR NAME, YOU MUST
PROVIDE US WITH YOUR MOST RECENT BILL SHOWING THAT IT HAS
BEEN PAID. IF YOU DO NOT PROVIDE PROOF THAT YOUR BILL IS
PAID UP TO DATE, YOUR SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE HELD IS ESCROW
UNTIL SUCH PROOF IS PRESENTED.
Our goal is twofold. First, to make your move as smooth
as possible, and second, to let you know in advance what
you need to do in order to get your security deposit back.
How much you are refunded depends on you and on how you
leave the apartment.
Virtually every apartment is rented for a move on the 1st.of
the month. As a result, our painters and workmen need to
get started by 10:00AM in order to get all of the apartments
ready by the following morning. We will be calling you for
your move-out schedule. If you are moving early, please
let us know, but remember that 10:00AM is the deadline.
